“The Rabbits” is a collective featuring a unique recipe of two cellists, a singer, piano and keys, drums, and percussion.
The bandleader, David Saruchanov, who is of Ukrainian and Armenian heritage, was born in Israel has lived with the lasting impact of war throughout his past, present, and future.
Over the past year, he has composed a repertoire that blends the band’s colorful adventurism and imagination with a message of collective and inner peace, equality, and faith. This vision is framed by the aesthetics of classical and contemporary music, with a strong emphasis on improvisation.
In other words, there’s no need to be prepared for the unexpected; just don’t forget to wear your seatbelt!
