Over het evenement
The New Amsterdam Trio for the second year is performing their own version of the classic Passion concert, using 3 arias and two recites from the Bach St. Matthew Passion, the Billie Holiday classic Strange Fruit, as well as live art by pianist Daniel Roser. They also build a narrative using personal and historical stories, and of course their signature free improvisations on the topic of the Passion of the Christ, seen through a 21st century lens.
