After the summer break, we open the new season with Mirtilla, a duo weaving harpsichord, voice, plucked and bowed strings into madrigalesque echoes and contemporary sonorities. Could this be our Baroque Future?

Between baroque and creative improvisation, through plucked and bowed strings, "Mirtilla" is a group difficult to spot these days. Harpsichord and voice interweave fluidly creating madrigalesque echoes and contemporary sonorities. Katerina Orfanoudaki and Sara Guidolin are two young emerging artists in the Northern European scene where they bring their Mediterranean roots. Through their compositions-improvisations, they unite past and present in an experimental, poetic and cathartic adventure. And as always, the lab session follows : an improvised court of all miracles, bring your instruments or or get creative with whatever’s around !!
