CLAP.IMPROLAB#2 Sonic Shape of Movement, 24 March : an improvised dialogue with Salya Berraf
This second session of CLAP.IMPROLAB brings together dance and music in a night of improvisation and exploration. Inspired by Debussy and Luc Ferrari, IMPRESSION PIXEL RISING invites audience to navigate in a live improvised landscape to experience the fluid dialogue between sound and movement.
Trained in both contemporary dance and ballet, performer and dancer Salya Berraf is a versatile artist with a multidisciplinary background in singing, theater, and circus arts.
Salya will collaborate with musicians from CLAP.IMPRO collective, Tanine Kian (piano and electronics) and Loïse Campagna (bass and electronics).
This session will dive into the connection between sound and movement, questioning how improvisation can blur the boundaries between disciplines and reshape our perception of space, energy, and interaction.
